The Msikaba River Bridge

Safety Connection is appointed as the Clients Pr CHS Agent to retrospectively engage the engineer for Stage 1 and to review the project designs for Stage 2 & 3, draft a Site Specific Health and Safety Specification, draft a Baseline Risk Assessment and to manage Stage 4, 5 and 6.

The project involves the Construction of a 580 meter Single Span Cable Stay Bridge across the Msikaba River, including: drilling, blasting, segmented steel construction, cable stays, concrete pylons and anchor blocks, approach roads and repairs to existing roads in the nearby vicinity of the bridge.

The Mtentu River Bridge

Safety Connection is appointed as the Clients Professional Construction Health & Safety Agent to retrospectively engage the engineer for Stage 1 and to review the project designs for Stage 2 & 3, draft a Site Specific Health and Safety Specification, draft a Baseline Risk Assessment and to manage Stage 4, 5 and 6.

The project involves the Construction of a 1.3 Kilometer Bridge across the Mtentu River, including: drilling, blasting, wind tunnel analysis, incremental launch, pressure grouting, II & BC Post Tensioning, Slope Protection, Rock Anchors & Drilling, Balance Cantilever Form Traveller.

Mpophomeni Water Treatment Plant & Pipeline

Client: Umgeni Water

Safety Connection is appointed as the Clients Pr.CHS Agent for Stage 1 to 6 on the Construction of a 6Ml/d Wastewater Treatment Plant at Mpophomeni, with Pump Station and Pipeline.

Johannesburg Data Center

Safety Connection was appointed as the Clients OHS Service Provider for the end of Stage 5 at the Johannesburg Data Center and are working on exciting new projects with Vantage Data Center as their PrCHS Agent.

Safety Connection is appointed by COEGA Development Corporation as the Clients Pr.CHS Agent for Stage 1 to 6 for three work packages: Auto Sez Bulk Services Package 1& 2 (combined Work Package) and Work Package 6 & Work Package 7 for the upgrade to the Ford Factory.

Polihali Dam

Safety Connection is appointed as the Clients Health and Safety Agent to the project for the Design and Construction Supervision (Stage 1 to 6) of the Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works. The Project is currently under way (Stage 5: construction phase) and we have full time resources on site to manage compliance and to achieve the project objective of zero harm.

Nkongeni Hospital

Safety Connection is appointed as the Clients Pr.CHS Agent for Stage 1 to 6 on the KwaNqetho Reservoir Project which involves the installation of temporary bypass water mains connection, Demolition of existing 1ML reservoir, and Construction of a new 6ML Square buried, reinforced concrete reservoir, Inlet and Outlet Pipe Work and Associated Work Reinforced Concrete Reservoir.
